Question: Power cut while gaming on AAA titles?
PC Specifications
Mobo: ROG Strix B650-A
CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X
GPU: 9060 XT 16GB
RAM: Corsair 32GB DDR5
PSU: 650w Bronze
During gameplay lasting about 1 to 2 hours, if fortunate, it may completely restart after a short pause. There are no errors, blue screens, or any issues—just a full power-off and restart. I’ve inspected all components and still can’t pinpoint the problem. I followed several steps: checked temperatures (CPU under 60 idle, GPU around 80 during gaming, 60°C max), rewired cords, updated RAM, PCI-E, and CPU. Still nothing works. I’m guessing a voltage issue might be the cause; maybe upgrading to an 850 Gold PSU would help. I’ve spent a lot of time researching before building this PC and have been dealing with this situation for months, starting in April—just a month after setup.

What motherboard are you using? And which BIOS version are you running?
650W bronze PSU
The 650W rating is the advertised power consumption, while bronze indicates the 80+ efficiency certification. Could you share the brand and model of your power supply unit, along with its age if applicable?
i'm running a cooler master halo, cpu cooler, but as mentioned, i've been keeping an eye on temperatures and they've never exceeded 80c. the psu is a corsair, and i'm using the latest bios, version 32872025/10/21. updated agesa to comboam5 pi 1.2.0.3g. my setup is an nzxt h6 flow with white intake fans, all components were new.
Corsair offers several CX models dating back to 2013 and extending up to 2023. Providing a link to your PSU would assist us significantly in identifying whether your unit qualifies as a Tier-E failure. A system that shuts down unexpectedly under load may be caused by either an overheating problem or insufficient power delivery when stressed. I plan to obtain a well-built 750W PSU and test if the issue remains.
I also have no overheating problems because I've checked the temperatures and placed my case in an area with proper ventilation.
