Hello, I’ve been experiencing repeated visual problems in games.
You can observe it here.
Most of the time, I’m encountering flickering textures, broken animations, and occasional issues with terrain or camera. The problem mainly impacts character models and changes in intensity, sometimes it’s barely noticeable and other times it makes the game unusable. This began about a year ago, appearing intermittently every few months for a few days before disappearing. However, this time it has lasted over a week without any improvement.
I’ve tried adjusting graphical settings, but they haven’t resolved the issue. Whether the game is lightweight with simple visuals or highly demanding, the same problems persist consistently. This indicates the problem isn’t related to GPU load or configuration, but likely something more fundamental.
What I’ve attempted recently:
GPU test confirmed no impact: My 4070 Ti Super runs perfectly on a friend’s system. I also tested a spare 4070 in my own setup – identical glitches occurred.
Replaced motherboard (new)
Swapped PSU and cables (new)
Performed fresh Windows 10 install on a brand-new SSD
Executed MemTest86 (4 passes, 0 errors) and Windows Memory Diagnostic
Disabled EXPO, set RAM to default 4800MHz
Removed shader cache, updated game settings, reinstalled games, moved them to different drives
Tried using a lower PCIe slot for the GPU
Unplugged all drives except the new boot SSD
Performed DDU clean uninstall of GPU drivers, tested various versions (old and latest)
Disabled overlays and background applications
Adjusted BIOS settings in various ways
Despite these efforts, nothing has changed or improved.
System specifications:
CPU: Ryzen 5 7600
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (also tested a standard 4070)
RAM: 32GB DDR5 4800MHz (EXPO disabled)
MB: Gigabyte B850 Gaming X Wifi - Version F4a
PSU: Cooler Master GX3 1050W (ATX 3.0)
SSD: Kingston A400 1TB (fresh Windows install)
OS: Windows 10
Since the GPU, PSU, RAM, and motherboard are all new or tested, I’m uncertain. The only component left unaltered is the CPU, but it doesn’t seem to be the source of the issue. I’d expect other problems if it were, but there aren’t any. I’m also curious if the case, grounding, or power delivery might be influencing system stability.
If you’ve encountered similar issues before or have any alternative tests I haven’t tried, your feedback would be greatly appreciated. At this point, I feel like I’m following a path with no clear direction.

Are there any additional tools installed besides Steam or the game itself?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Use DDU to eliminate all GPU drivers (intel, AMD, and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually reinstall driver version566.36 via an elevated command—right-click the installer and select Run as Administrator—to see if it resolves the issues.
You didn’t specify your motherboard’s make and model or its current BIOS version at this time.
OS: Windows 10
What edition of the OS are you currently using?

Alright, I included the motherboard and BIOS version. I noticed the BIOS remains on the initial release (F1), so I’m updating it now to the newest one (F4a). Regarding software, when the problem started, my PC was quite messy, so I performed a fresh Windows 10 installation. Then only Steam and the games were installed. The issue continued under those circumstances.

Which in-game graphics details were adjusted? Compare them to your friends' settings—perhaps differences exist in shadows, textures, shaders, models, or other aspects.

I've noticed that adjusting graphical options doesn't resolve the visual issues. Regardless of whether the game is simple or complex, the same problems persist. It implies the issue goes beyond just GPU performance or configuration.

The sole issue is a defective CPU. Consider executing a game with minimal requirements using the iGPU.
