Welcome to the forums, newcomer! What BIOS version do you have for your motherboard? If you're talking about the motherboard itself, did you forget to mention the brand and model? Clean Windows install
Where did you obtain the installer for the operating system? Did you recreate it to avoid a faulty installation? Speaking of which, what version of Windows are you using?
How recent is your power supply unit in this build? What is the make and model of your storage devices?

Right now I'm running an MSI MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WiFi with a 5800X Ryzen and 32 GB GSKILL Trident Royal DDR4 RAM. All of these components were purchased in 2021. The BIOS remains original, and I haven't updated it.

I'm becoming cautious because I think the system might be unstableāespecially if it crashes during an update, I'll have to return it for repair. Even though it works fine in the UEFI setup and only shows problems when Windows is active, I suspect the M2 chip could be the cause.
Over the past 1 1/2 years, I've installed three fresh versions from different USBs. The issue has appeared in varying degrees: last year I had a reboot after hours of idle, and months ago during light use. Now it happens right after the first minute of startup.
I recently bought a Corsair RM1000X in December 2022. I plan to clean the PC thoroughly, update the chipset drivers, and manually adjust the CPU voltage to see if that resolves the idle problem. I'll also test my drives using CrystalDisk and isolate each one by removing them one by one to identify the faulty one. If nothing works, I'll flash the BIOS to the latest version.
If everything fails, I'll return all components and revert to Intel.

Yesterday I upgraded to the latest chipset and updated the BIOS, but it didnāt help. When I set the minimum CPU performance to 100%, the computer runs a little longer before crashing again, even without any load. Iām planning to check the drives today, but I suspect my hard drive might be damaged. Everything functions properly with UEFI, but when Windows starts, I feel like the drive canāt handle certain power demands. Or maybe my PSU isnāt supplying enough power under Windows, even though it does in UEFI.
