Question: PC crashes after 20 minutes of gaming even though I have a really good PC!
I purchased this PC about six to seven months ago and initially everything worked perfectly. I ran every ultra mode and it performed flawlessly. However, after that period my games began to crash or freeze during loading. I checked online and many thought it was due to my RAM, but when I brought it back to the store where I bought it, they identified it as a CPU issue. They replaced my CPU with a new one and everything improved.
Now, six months later I’m facing random crashes in games, mostly after about twenty minutes without any error messages, unlike before. I play through the game normally until the 20-minute mark, then it crashes abruptly—no errors, just a sudden stop that sends me back to the screen. This has happened with three to four games.
Despite everything being up to date, the problems persist. Thanks for your help!

Intel's 13th and 14th Gen processors have faced several problems, often requiring a BIOS update or an RMA for the CPU if the initial fix didn't work.

Just a heads-up, the ideal DDR5 speed is around 6000MHz. Running X.M.P. actually worsened the instability issues on these platforms, so 7000MHz might be feasible in theory but could be making things worse. A stop-gap solution was to lower the RAM frequency to DDR5-6000MHz and check if stability improves.

My RAM is four 8GB sticks; without the XMP profile it runs at 4400 MHz, but with the AI overclock tuner on XMP1 it hits 5200 MHz. I’ve been using that for 3-4 months without any issues—games averaged over 200 FPS!
