Question Overclocking Memory Corsair
Question Overclocking Memory Corsair
My Memory is named Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro schwarz, DDR4-3600, CL18 - 32 GB 2x16GB
and my Motherboard is the ROG STRIX Z490-F GAMING
so I encountered issues when trying to overclock. I visited the MB Site and checked the Memory Support there.
I found the information at https://ibb.co/sKcdhtM
It seems it doesn’t make sense for me, but it supports the same version in any size except mine?
Could this be correct? It claims to support 8x16 GB, but not 2x16 GB? What’s going on?
Ensure the BIOS on your motherboard is up to date. If there are pending updates, proceed slowly to the newest version rather than immediately switching to the latest. Regarding your RAM, check which slots are being used by your system. When overclocking, did you intend to activate X.M.P or simply adjust the frequency? If the latter, you'll have to manually set the voltage, frequency, and timings—be ready for some trial and error.
