Hello. When your unlocked CPU is limited to 2666 MHz RAM, you might wonder if you can adjust the BIOS settings to allow higher frequencies. It’s possible to override the CPU’s cap, but you’ll need to follow specific steps to ensure stability and compatibility.

Which unlocked CPU was installed? What is the make and model of the motherboard? Also, what is the PSU?

Considering the i5 8600K or 9600K options, and the Asus Prime Z370 PII with the nJoy Woden 650 80+ Gold PSU.

With a Z series motherboard (Z370/Z390), you can achieve RAM speeds exceeding 2666 MHz. I recommend selecting a different power supply if you haven't already purchased one.

Sure, I can help with that. Look for a budget-friendly PSU around 50-60 dollars or less. Make sure it's compatible with your Inno3d RTX 2060 GPU.

Romania. The budget will be around 250 Romanian lei.
Also, I prefer prices from ce.ro as they have the best rates.

Yeah I was thinking about buying that too, but I don't feel 520 is sufficient.

Do you intend to increase the GPU's performance or capacity?
