Hi. I own a Wireless Xbox One Controller and frequently use it with my PC. Recently, I noticed certain inputs are being missed in games. I understand that some users increase controller overclocking for improved performance, but I'm curious—does this method apply when using a Bluetooth-connected controller as well?

I've never come across overclocking a controller before. Yet a reported advantage of the XBox Wireless adapter for PC is reduced latency compared to Bluetooth. I'd argue that missed inputs aren't actually about latency. From what I know, missed inputs usually indicate a worn-out button or stick.
