Question OBS Scene Transition with webcam?
Hello all,
I’m facing a problem where my webcam source doesn’t work correctly when switching scenes in OBS studio.
The webcam I’m using is a Logitech BRIO 2022.
Scene A uses a webcam with 1080p resolution for streaming games, while Scene B uses a 4K resolution for a full-screen cam scene.
All other settings remain consistent across scenes, and each source is set to 'deactivate when not showing.'
However, when switching between scenes, the webcam fails to reactivate, leaving me with a blank screen until I restart OBS.
I’ve ensured my OBS is fully updated and have the latest webcam firmware and Windows updates.
I’ve tried changing the 'deactivate when not showing' setting, but it doesn’t help because the webcam can only be active in one scene at a time, even with different resolutions.
I’ve also experimented with various scene transitions, but the issue still persists.
Anyone have a solution?

There’s a lot of information available—just scroll down to "Hotkeys", "Advanced", and "Scenes and Sources".
Examine the numerous settings options. I’m sure you only need to fix some missing or incorrect entries.
