Hey everyone I’ve been struggling with this for a few hours and I’m hoping you can assist.
I purchased a 32 GB kit (two 16 GB drives) and after installation the monitor didn’t show any signal. I checked various forums and attempted several solutions, but the key was resetting my CMOS. That worked once, though it reported only 16 GB available. After turning off the PC and trying different slots, the monitor still wouldn’t turn on. I then reset the CMOS again, but no improvement. I also noticed that when it functioned properly, the fans started up differently than usual, but now they behave normally. I’ve tried leaving the battery out for over 20 minutes without success. Changing RAM didn’t help either, and swapping in an old module didn’t resolve the issue. I’m really unsure what to do next.
I also bought the GIGASTONE Game PRO 32GB Kit (2x16 GB) DDR4 3200MHz PC4-25600 CL 16-18-18-40 Intel XMP 2.0.
My motherboard is the ASUS Prime B550-Plus AC-HES.

Review the motherboard User Guide/Manual.
Certain motherboards now demand that the initial RAM module be inserted into a designated slot.
Typically it should be in DIMM_A2.
Look for this requirement and carefully examine all diagrams and fine print.

Certain motherboards now demand that the initial RAM module be inserted into a designated slot.
Typically it should be in DIMM_A2.

The manual suggests a specific setup, but I’m following the version I have. It doesn’t mention the installation sequence, yet I’ve tried both methods and the problem persists.

Support for your motherboard can be tricky.
It varies, partly due to the processor you have.

The BIOS version might also matter.
Certain processors require a specific BIOS level:

I thought it might have been the problem, but now even the older RAM I had installed is causing the same issue.
