GPU usage reaches 100% during stuttering. In a tough game, every 2 to 15 seconds the entire screen and mouse cursor will stop moving for roughly half a second.

Thank you, I'll give it another shot.
Updated: GPU usage increases significantly during stuttering. In a high-demand game, every 2 to 15 seconds the entire screen and mouse cursor will become unresponsive for roughly half a second.

Hey there,
Have you reset the CMOS after updating the bios? If not, try that.
Also, nVidia drivers for the RTX5000 series seem unreliable and are causing problems. Check out Tom's reviews—it's a disclaimer; the drivers are problematic.
Dry and unstable, isn't ideal for thermal paste. Which paste did you use?

Congratulations! I updated the PSU connections and RAM. It seems everything is working well now. Wow, these components are quite sensitive. As an auto mechanic with other skills, I know electrical connections inside and out—lol. Thanks again! Between here and a few reddit posts, you were the only one to propose this fix. Cheers! Hooray! May your computer run smoothly.

Update and reseating the PSU appears to have resolved the issue. Good advice! If new problems arise, I'll try using older NVida drivers. I used the paste from my budget cooler, the Cooling Frozn A620 Pro Se, and it seems they're not all the same. Would you recommend a full reset or just keeping an eye on things?

Keep an eye on it. ID Cooling's thermal paste performs well. If problems arise, you can try Noctua NT H2, which is a great option. There are many other good choices, such as TG Hydro.
