Question My mouse has been freezing regularly and has been causing me stress
About three days ago my mouse began freezing. When it freezes, it stays active only when either mouse button is pressed, but not during side-to-side movements. This isn’t a hardware problem because it works on other computers when plugged in, and it also functions with a different mouse. I’ve also changed the USB ports.
What I have already attempted:
* Reinstalled mouse drivers
* Used various USB connections
* Switched to different mice
* Ensured all drivers are current and reinstalled without updates
* Restarted the computer
* Performed anti-malware scans
* Disabled USB slots to allow them to power off after inactivity
* Executed SFC /Scannow and DISM health restore commands, including graphics-related checks
Important observations:
* The keyboard operates normally
* The screen functions correctly
* No computer statistics reach the maximum in Task Manager
* None of the statistics approach 60% at their highest
* I’m currently very confused
