Question My game crashes at low frame rate after a specific duration
I recently cleaned the fan on my processor since my computer was making a lot of noise. Once done, there was no more sound and it worked properly. Then I started playing a game (Ghost of Tushima) and played normally. But after some time, my FPS dropped and the game slowed down. Even the menu screen became sluggish. My PC isn’t making any noise, it’s not hot, and I tried turning it off for about 45 minutes, but it still lagged afterward. Please help—I can’t do this anymore.
EDIT: I noticed my LAT increasing until my screen turned off in sleep mode when I was lagging, maybe that’s the cause.
If only the fan cleaning was done, it seems the issue likely stems from that action. Monitor the temperatures during the occurrence and analyze with performance management to identify changes. What tasks were performed while cleaning the fan?
I will verify the temperature. However, I just used a thin small brush to remove the dust.
