I took a break from Rainbow Six Siege for a while and came back. Before, my game always ran smoothly at the expected frame rate. Now it's stuck at 60 consistently. I've tried several fixes but haven't been very tech-savvy. Any tips to help? Just explain in simple terms. My monitor is 165Hz and the refresh rate matches. I have an AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, a Ryzen 5 3600 with six cores, an ASUS Rog Strix B40f, 48GB RAM, and a Samsung 990 EVO SSD.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
I have tried quite a few things and I am not very tech savvy. So any recommendations to fix this issue,
What have you tried prior to creating this thread? it's so that we're not repeating steps you've taken that has been unfruitful at solving the issue.
As for your specs, please list them like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
Does this issue crop up on other titles as well?
48gb of ram
You might want to elaborate on this configuration for your ram.
