Question My display is experiencing signal loss and fluctuations continuously, even when using BIOS.
my specs include a 5800x3d (2 weeks old), Nitro+ 7900xtx (2 weeks old), 32GB RAM (1 year old), x570 plus tuf gaming mb (over 4 years old), rm1000x psu (over 4 years old). My BIOS and AMD Adrenalin are both up to date. I believe the issue isn't related to software.
As mentioned, the screen keeps restarting. I recently bought a new 7900xtx and 5800x3d about a week ago. Everything was fine then—gameplay was smooth, temperatures were normal. Until today, after returning from work, I turned on the PC and noticed no signal from the monitor. I switched from DP to HDMI briefly, but then started losing signal again and recovering constantly, even in BIOS. That narrowed it down to the cables.
Here’s how my monitor behaved:

After that, I opened the case, removed the GPU, reinserted it, replaced all cables, took the CPU out, and put the cooler back on. Nothing worked.
Could this be a faulty GPU? Is there a bad motherboard? Or is the PSU defective? I only got the GPU about a week ago. It wouldn’t work if the PSU failed, since it wouldn’t run at all; similarly, the CPU wouldn’t function either. From looking at the case, everything seems to be in good condition—GPU fan is spinning, and all components are working as expected.
I haven’t made any changes between the system being fine and then failing. I was playing games yesterday and the issue appeared today. I’m not changing anything except ensuring the RAM runs at 3200, which is supported by my MB.
Please help me! Thanks in advance.
Yes, I've already checked it on my laptop using the same HDMI cables, everything worked properly.
