Question Mouse cannot be activated without a unifier?
I'll try to summarize the story concisely. I'm attempting to use only Bluetooth with my wireless mouse and Logitech MK850. The technician suggests it won't work on Bluetooth alone because it stops when the computer sleeps. There might be a way to keep Bluetooth active while the computer is asleep so the mouse can wake up when needed. My main reason is that the device performs better with Bluetooth than with the unifier.
Not something I have personally handled extensively. But you might be able to design a tailored power plan or schedule. Begin with the provided link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/window...ower-plans. The example in the article uses:
powercfg /deviceenableawake "Microsoft USB IntelliMouse Optical"
In your case, Bluetooth could be the alternative to the IntelliMouse device. It might work together or separately. Check existing plans first and adjust accordingly.
I wish I had that kind of technology, but for me it's just ChatGPS.
I really appreciate the effort.
It was mentioned that I shouldn't have the BT running while the PC sleeps if that were possible.
I remembered a Macrium image and everything seems fine except now my Windows Mail (old Hotmail) isn't opening the contacts.
I tried resetting, repairing, reinstalling, using sfc and DISM, but it didn't help.
Possibly a Windows bug.
Have a good day.
