Hello, after restarting my PC today, I encountered a BitLocker recovery window. I have the key, but neither my SteelSeries keyboard nor my wireless mouse functioned within it. (They both operate in Windows.) I attempted the steps recommended online:
- switched to different ports
- disabled fast boot
- enabled legacy USB
- ensured Safe Boot was activated
Still nothing happened. I went shopping for basic wired office equipment—a mouse and a keyboard—and hoped they would work inside that window, but it didn’t. Am I missing something?

It's a known issue with latest 25H2 update.
Nuke and reinstall Windows.

I received the most recent updates but faced issues starting up after a BIOS update yesterday. The mouse and keyboard didn't respond in the Windows repair screen. Everything worked again by booting from a Windows USB and fixing the original boot drive. It took around 20 minutes to download the free Win11 USB from Microsoft, though you'll need another computer for that.
