The Mac Mini previously installed Microsoft Word and now experiences freezing after inactivity. The saved work is intact, but issues arise when the device isn't used for a while. I'm looking into possible causes and diagnostic steps to identify the problem.

Have you attempted to remove and reinstall the application? Please specify the version of Microsoft's Word you are using and the source where you obtained the app.

The version is 16.58, which has been in use for a year now. There have been issues for nearly a week, and I've tried reinstalling, but the freezing isn't too common. The only other option is to force quit.
