The system configuration includes an i7 10700k processor, a NZXT Kraken x63 with 280mm AIO, ASUS TUF gaming z490-plus, two 8GB T-Force Delta 3600Mhz CL18 cards, an MSI RTX 3070 with 8GB RAM, a FireCuda 510 M.2 SSD with 500GB boot drive, a Sabrent Rocket Q M.2 SSD of 1TB, a Crucial MX500 2.5" SSD also 1TB, a Corsair RM850x PSU, a Lian-Li Lancool 2 Mesh, an AOC 24G2U 1080p 144hz IPS monitor. When launching games, frames are generally stable across the expected range (100-160), though FPS can drop significantly to 50-80 during intense moments. Usage stats remain consistent—CPU around 50% and GPU near 95%, with minor fluctuations. It’s unusual for 3/16 of CPU threads to hit 100% while the rest stay between 15-40%, a pattern observed on three separate occasions. This has been tracked via HWMonitor. The issue doesn’t seem linked to thermal performance; the CPU stays steady at 55°C under load and the GPU hovers around 65°C. My brother’s build with an identical i7 10700k and 3080 at 1440p avoids this high core/thread usage, remaining around 40%. I’m unsure what further steps would help, though some suggest lowering the resolution might be worth considering. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated. Thank you for your time! Feel free to share more details if needed.

I understand Warzone can consume a significant amount of memory; it might be due to low free RAM, which would explain the symptoms you're experiencing. When the problem occurs again, review your RAM usage.
I have a system with an 8700 processor, 1080TI graphics, and 32GB of RAM, and I’m not having issues. However, when I increase the resolution to 1440, another factor could be involved.

Thanks for the update, gamerk316. I'm planning to upgrade to another 16GB of RAM. Also, I've observed that the GPU and CPU frame times roughly double when performance drops to 50-80 FPS. Once I reach better speeds (100-160 FPS), frame times typically hover around 6-8ms. Check out the increased frame times here: https://imgur.com/a/xxrG9FJ. View: https://imgur.com/a/xxrG9FJ

Did you manage to find a solution? I have the same problem and my friend also has it.
I checked my component values using HWInfo, and the only unusual readings were the temperatures of the M.2 SSD.
Before I reached 93 degrees Celsius after running the Samsung Magician benchmark, I assumed thermal throttling was happening.
So I installed a heatsink for the SSD, which greatly reduced the temperatures.
Now everything is normal, but the FPS still drops.
CPU temperature is 72 degrees, GPU is 70 degrees. CPU time is 6ms and GPU time is 6ms. Latency is 16ms.
FPS on the first PC and when starting a game is between 115-131 fps.
After playing a few games, it drops to 80-100 fps.
After restarting the game, I get back to 115-131 fps, but this time the drops happen immediately after the first game round.
We’re really confused about what’s wrong with our PC builds.
Anyone have any ideas?

No resolution found, I'm now playing Warzone on a 1440p display instead of 1080p. The main concern is the ongoing frame drops.
Recently experienced some lighting or texture issues, but I'm not sure what the technical problem is.
