Hi everyone,
I noticed there are many discussions and articles about this issue online. When I run NFS Heat, I experience huge FPS drops—sometimes reaching 60, but sometimes as low as 10. It’s frustrating because the game becomes almost unplayable. I’ve tried various solutions I could find, but nothing has worked so far. I’m using an older system, but some people on YouTube are successfully running the game with similar settings at steady 55-60 FPS in 1080p (I use 1680 x 1050). Anyone have faced this problem and found a way to fix it?

Hey there,
How's the cooler performing on the CPU? Are you experiencing overheating? What temperatures are you reaching during gaming when these drops happen? You can use MSI Afterburner to monitor this by checking the OSD for CPU/GPU usage, temps, and FPS. My initial guess would be that your CPU is maxing out. It might also be underpowered for the 2060, but not significantly so.

It's a typical Intel box cooler. The temperature is near 50°C, and the CPU usage during the game is around 45-52%. Seems quite typical.
