Question M.2 interchangeable option (no requirement for hot swap)
Hi,
on a PC used for testing custom electronics, I’m considering frequently swapping the main M.2 drive. However, doing this often might damage the contacts. I was wondering if there’s a way to make an M.2 drive easy to swap without needing external tools. Since I can keep the PC open while working, maybe a middle card that can be replaced if it gets damaged would work. Thanks as always.
I would certainly consider a removable storage option. This prevents excessive strain on the M.2 port, as they have a restricted number of insertions.
