Sorry, that doesn't seem to match the device you described. It appears you're trying to recall a specific model but can't locate it, and you've lost access to your order.

In Escape from Tarkov, I'm experiencing difficulty maintaining consistent performance above 50-60 FPS. While playing a game named Soulstone Survivor, I'm achieving around 90 FPS with spikes and occasional stutters.

I've consistently used NZXT Cam but plan to install HWMonitor as recommended.
CPU idle usage remains between 2-3%, hovering around 50-55°C, rising to 70-80°C during gaming – a level I've observed on another forum as typical for these processors.
MSI Afterburner is installed but hasn't been used for overclocking.
Regarding GPU drivers, I've faced this issue for some time and intend to revert to an earlier version.
For the motherboard suggestion, it was bundled with my CPU, so I thought it would be ideal.
Current RAM frequency is Default: 2400MHz, while current is 1800MHz; it seems my BIOS has dropped EXPO, so I'll investigate further.
UPDATE: XMP functionality appears to have been disabled, and I've restored the clock speed to 2600MHz.

Your temperatures are within normal ranges for this CPU. Could you clarify your RAM model, including its frequency and timing? An XMP kit isn’t suitable for a Ryzen processor; you should use an EXPO kit or adjust the voltage and timing to align with the EXPO profile. Regarding the motherboard, I’m not suggesting it’s the root cause, though we’re still uncertain about the exact issue (what constitutes "low FPS" in your experience? Which games are affected?). It’s possible the board is functioning correctly, but personally, pairing a 7950X with a board below X670 seems questionable.

XMP refers only to the configuration in the motherboard BIOS, I'm not sure if it can be changed. Regarding the RAM model, Corsair Vengeance RBG DDR5 16GBx4 5200 MHz - CMH32GX5M2B5200C40. Concerning timing, I'm not completely clear on what that means. The specifications mention a RAM CAS Latency of 40.1 ns at 1.25 volts.

I understand your issue clearly, as I own the exact same RAM setup you mentioned (Corsair Vengeance 16 GB x4 5200 MHz CL40). It’s not up to par. I suspected my current RAM was limiting performance and hindering CPU efficiency in games. There are several issues with this kit:

- Slow speed: 5200 MHz is suboptimal even for Ryzen processors. 6000 MHz would be ideal for modern Ryzen.
- CL40 has high latency, which negatively impacts gaming just like low speeds do.
- Using four sticks instead of two reduces performance more than it helps.

In summary, your best match would be a kit similar to my own, focusing on capacity rather than speed. My system is 96 GB, but 64 GB is sufficient. Switching to a dual-rank, high-speed, low-latency AMD EXPO-compatible kit (like the 32GB x2 6000 MHz CL30) would significantly improve GPU usage, overall FPS, and even lower 1% latencies. A Corsair Vengeance 32GB x2 6000 MHz CL30 EXPO kit costs over $200 but offers substantial value.

I plan to order a new motherboard and RAM to check its impact. Regarding the RAM, I performed everything smoothly with 32GB at 3200Hz; adding more RAM at a higher frequency doesn’t necessarily improve performance.

I think the claim about ram's impact on gaming performance is exaggerated—even the top systems show almost no change in benchmarks. It’s hard to detect any real difference. If the issue isn’t ram speed, then it likely points to a more serious problem.

Consider restarting the PC prior to playing a game and avoid launching other demanding applications such as Chrome. This unusual step seems to improve performance when my PC struggles in various games. It might assist with your issue.

I share my own insights based on the exact RAM setup the OP is using. I’ve directly felt the impact of an upgraded RAM configuration. Apologies if this doesn’t align with the general benchmarks you’ve encountered online. The OP is running 4 sticks of high-latency DDR5 RAM at around 2600 MHz, and I haven’t seen any comparisons against high-speed low-latency dual-rank EXPO-enabled models.
