Hello everyone,
I shared my question after receiving helpful feedback once before. Now I’m trying to figure out a solution since I’m still facing issues.

Recently, I had to replace my PC because of melting cables and the fan running at full speed. I used this chance to swap out the GPU and even tried a different motherboard with a fresh Windows install. However, my new setup—complete with a new PSU and GPU—still has a loud PSU fan, and I’m concerned it might cause damage again.

I believe a faulty PSU is unlikely (it was a warranty replacement and a reliable model), and I’ve tried everything I could to avoid the problems. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. What might be happening here?

Pc part list:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
CPU cooler: be quiet pure loop 240
Motherboard: Aorus X570i Wi-Fi (latest bios 39d)
Ram: Corsair 2x16G 3600Hz
SSD/HDD: 2x 1TB M.2 WD black sn770
GPU: RX 9070 Power Color Hellhound
PSU: Cooler Master V1100 SFX Platinum
Chassis: Cooler Master NR200P
OS: Windows 11
Monitor: 1440p 165Hz TUF gaming

P.S.: Could it just be the loudness? I’m used to a 850W PSU, and I’m overthinking. The manual says idle power draw is 25DBA, whereas my old unit was around 10DPA.

With the new PSU and GPU still producing a loud fan noise, I'm concerned it could cause damage again. Consider adding an audio or video clip describing the sound. Share it on a platform like Imgur, and send us the link to review.

Also, what is the orientation of your fans? For testing purposes, you might try placing an A4 sheet around your ear and using the other end to locate the noise source. You may need to remove the side panels for this.

The fans draw from the bottom and left, while the PSU pulls from the right and top as well. I have a video here: https://imgur.com/a/DGeeV1A. The remaining fans run quietly at 600-700 rpm, and with the old PSU it was almost undetectable, which I really appreciated.
