Hi,
My friend is having trouble too. The issue remains after installing the new windows, and even trying another keyboard didn’t fix it—same problem persists with a different one. Can someone assist?

Updated specifications indicate the full hardware details, operating system compatibility, and mention the PSU and disk drives. The question also asks about making and model keyboards and their functionality across different computers.

Hopefully it was a simple configuration mistake or oversight. It might require some work to identify the cause.
Things to try:
1) Use the built-in Windows troubleshooters; they may detect and resolve the issue.
2) Review settings and configurations through Accessibility > Keyboard. Also, check Time & Language > Typing.
3) Determine which games are running; the SHIFT key might be set for another function.
4) If any gaming tools are installed, remove them.
5) Clear all installed keyboard drivers to see if the problem persists.

Ensure no keyboard or mouse utilities are running through Task Manager or Task Scheduler. Stick to the built-in Windows 10 keyboard drivers only.
With a fresh setup, you can also execute "dism" and "sfc /scannow" to detect and repair corrupted files.
