Question Kernel Power Event 41 restores?
The system remains clean, and I managed well when swapping the air cooler to the AIO. It sits on a laminate floor. I’m curious if moving it up onto the desk would help—since the warm air from the rear and rear fans might get pulled back through the front. If placed on the desk, I believe the incoming air would be cooler.
Raising the PC off the ground reduces dust accumulation and helps manage heat better. Adjusting airflow can also make a difference when the case has fewer restrictions. Temperature-wise, it might be slightly higher in the room due to hot air rising and cold air settling. You might notice a 1-2°C difference between floor and ceiling areas. Have you considered increasing fan speed? Also, what does HWinfo64 recommend regarding temperatures?
I've increased the fan speeds for both the rad fans and inlet fans; so far no crashes have occurred, though today isn't particularly hot. They're expecting a heatwave next week, which will be the real challenge.
My readings in HWInfo64 seem normal except for my Samsung 970 Evo SSD, where "Temperature 3" is reported at 77°C—does that sound extremely high?
Samsung Magician indicates the temperature is 47 deg C, aligning with the information from HWInfo for Temp 1 and Temp 2. What is the value of temperature 3?
The drive in question is the one running my OS, meaning it's likely accessed frequently. Its slot seems to be located in a low-oxygen area regarding airflow. The memory sticks restrict much of the air from reaching the front fans. I'm curious if moving that SSD to the other M.2 slot, below the GPU fans, would help.
It could be, because your CPU cooler is AIO, lacking airflow at the CPU socket.
I use an air cooler that adds extra airflow for my RAM and close to the CPU slot.
You might want to try moving the M.2 drive around to check its performance under GPU conditions.
