Question KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CONTRIVED
Question KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CONTRIVED
Today I faced a BSOD due to a kernel mode heap corruption issue. I already had WinDbg installed to analyze the error, which led me to a nvlddmkm!unknown_function message. This isn’t my first time dealing with this problem—I recently updated my drivers and installed Windows about a month ago after encountering this error. Everything has been running smoothly for the past month until today, when I tried to open the Geforce Experience overlay to adjust color filters. It wouldn’t open, but after several attempts it still didn’t work. When the application finally closed, the overlay briefly appeared before the BSOD occurred. Should I consider my mobile 3060 might be failing? I also ran a memtest a month ago when this error first appeared, and it showed no issues.
