Hi everyone,
I've been considering changing from my Lenovo Thinkbook 14 Gen3 ACL to another 14-inch model. I'm thinking about the Asus ROG G14 (2021 version) because it's around USD1300-1400 now, which is close to where I live. It has a Ryzen 7-5800HS, RTX3060, 16GB, FHD-144Hz.

For me, the main points are: no webcam needed, and only one storage drive for the G14 while my Lenovo has two SSDs—250GB for the OS and 500GB (Gen3x2) for data. I'm okay with that.

The purpose is general productivity, similar size, light gaming, and content creation. What do you all think? Should I make the switch?

This Google portable laptop looks great. It seems suitable for gaming too. The model g14 features a magnesium casing.

The G14 is a solid laptop, I've read positive feedback about it.

Holding out for the 2022 version to be available where I live. Have been reading reviews left and right for it... using my ThinkBook, hehehe.

Here I am once more, evaluating the 2021 Acer Swift X and the 2022 MSI Prestige 14 with a 3050. The main purpose is remote work, needing portability across countries, using browsers, Microsoft Office, Light 2D and 3D rendering, and possibly playing two games (Red Alert 2 & Apex Legends). I’m leaning toward the MSI Prestige—what do you think?
