Hey, my PC feels really bad during the day and today I stayed up until 4am trying things out.
Around 2-2:30am the system started working much better.
I checked the task scheduler and saw many tasks marked as "over?" at that time.
Did the PC improve because it stopped running or because it ran faster?
Could be either. What should I do to try and get the same effect?
Is there a way to pause all tasks for a full day, or just run them earlier?
Or maybe it’s completely unrelated.

To turn off a task in the Task Scheduler, open the scheduler, go to the specific task, click right-click, and choose "Disable" from the menu.

In short, just doing that x109 times for all 109 tasks is a big request—are you sure it’s safe? I’ll set up a restore point for the course.

It is safe. You might also download sysinternals. (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint...nals-suite) Autoruns will simplify the process. Another method is to turn off all startup programs at once. If the issue vanishes, gradually re-enable them until you find the culprit.
