I own a Corsair (CMK8GX4M1A2400C16) 16-16-16-39 1.20V memory kit in a quad channel configuration (4 x 8GB). I've been trying to overclock my RAM for some time, but all the discussions about timings seem a bit unclear. I'm curious if anyone has successfully overclocked a similar kit to around 2800Mhz or 2933Mhz so I can understand the timing settings and voltage adjustments needed. I'm aware it depends on the silicon lottery, but I just need a general idea. Thanks.

Which CPU or motherboard are you using? This determines the possible options. Also, what is your power supply and its voltage margin?

I own an i7-5820k @4.4Ghz 1.30v with an ASUS X99 Deluxe Mobo. My power supply is a Thermaltake toughpower Grand 1050W 80+ Gold. Since you might also need it, my graphics card is an ASUS Strix GTX 980, giving me plenty of room because the PSU is a bit more than sufficient for my system.
