Hi guys,
I was wondering if overclocking really impacts the heat efficiency of the CPU, motherboard, and memory. Also, how does it affect the overall lifespan of these parts? From what I understand, the answer is likely no, but I'm being careful since many people do it. I'd appreciate any insights or detailed research on this. If you have a specific processor in mind—like the i5 12600k—I'm considering switching to a Ryzen 5 7600. Thanks!

If your airflow is good and you're managing the cooling while staying within reasonable overclocking limits, then
no
you shouldn't have any concerns.
However, running at default speeds will prevent you from fully utilizing your system, no matter whether it's Intel or AMD.
