Hello,
I am searching for a switch as mentioned in the title: a device for HDMI v2.1 with two inputs and two outputs, capable of showing everything simultaneously.
To illustrate clearly:
I own a PC that I wish to use on either a 165Hz display or a TV in 4K HDR. The same applies to a PS5, whether on the screen or on the TV.
First challenge is locating a switch that offers 2 inputs and 2 outputs, which seems unusual for my understanding.
Second concern: I require it to support HDMI 2.1. This is important because of the refresh rate needed for FPS games, the need for compatibility with both PC and PS5, and the desire for future-proof functionality.
Third requirement: it must be able to display both outputs at once—whether the PC is on the TV or the PS5 is on the screen, or vice versa. I’m considering a "matrix switch" but am not certain about its exact features.
Could anyone suggest a suitable HDMI switch or splitter that meets all these criteria? Ideally something available in Europe, though I’m open to alternatives if needed!
