Question GPU memory overclock +700 on 1050gtx
Hi, your MSI 1050gtx is currently running smoothly with a stable core clock up to +200mhz. The memory is already at +700 and everything appears normal. It seems safe to keep increasing the overclock, but be cautious—continuing without monitoring could pose risks. Watch for any signs of instability before proceeding further.
the voltage slider isn't grayed out when set to 100, but after running other tests I ended up with +170 core, +500 memory, yet only about +5fps—way too slow. so i reset everything back to the default settings and kept going.
It doesn't really do anything, actually. AFAIK, 1050's are restricted by voltage limits and even moving the slider to the end won't change the actual voltage sent to the card.
Notably, OCing won't instantly boost your framerate.
Around 5FPS in a specific title might seem low, but it could vary in other titles.
If you don't need it, running at default isn't an issue.
