I am able to handle challenging games for extended periods, but moving files causes me to crash with a blue screen.

Turning on the GPU accelerator caused issues on my 4070 super.
Adjust the graphics settings.
Disable hardware accelerated GPU scheduling.
Set variable refresh rate to off.

Alright, I'll try to copy some stuff to see what happens.

the files being copied are specific to this computer, and the choice of media during installation can help identify whether it was tailored for this machine or created anew.

Whatever the default setting was, I didn't notice it. I'm using the same PC but on a different drive. I'm copying files from my old Windows drive that won't boot now, but games and server settings are unaffected. I also recently tried executing an execute of noexecute memory and encountered a blue screen.

But as I mentioned earlier, I've been using the browser for a long time without any problems when copying files.

It seems like one of the files on the drive might be the crucial copy 1 file only 1. I would check if this happens. I would also test the drive on another machine to see if it can copy over it when it freezes and displays a blue screen, indicating corruption.

It's great to hear, I'll give it a try and see how it goes. I managed to copy a large portion earlier without issues for 30 minutes, but now it doesn't reach the popup asking if I want to replace files—this seems quite odd.

Also what does it mean when someone says a corrupt file needs to be wiped? Like if certain files are damaged, removing them could resolve the issue.
