Hello,
I own an ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero and recently purchased an EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 P2. I'm planning some overclocking tests and wanted to confirm before proceeding. The ATX 12V_1 and ATX 12V_2 are both 8-pin, so should I connect the 8-pin VGA slot or cable from the SuperNOVA 1600 P2 to power these components on the motherboard?

The belt for both EPS wires on the motherboard connects to CPU 1 and CPU 2 as shown in this picture;
