I have a 9070xt that I just picked up today
My psu is corsair rm 1000x 80 plus gold (2021)
My gpu requires 3 8 pin connectors
I have 2 cables and they BOTH split into 2

RM1000x should provide sufficient cables and ports to meet the goal of 3 dual ended cables. I personally prefer not having all the loose ends, so I opt for these options:
https://www.amazon.com/CableMod-Classic-...B08Z8C7BVH
Or the complete kits, as three is quite an investment.

Is that power supply missing the 3rd port? I assumed it had one, but I might need to check the cables. I remember my 2016 HXI came with at least three PCIe connectors inside.

Thank you all, I was surprised I didn't have any that don't split. There was one, but it didn't fit—I'm not sure what that is for.

It was a CPU-EPS connector, an 8-pin type, commonly used in standard configurations.
