Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure something out. I’ve had this PC for about a year and a half now and things have been getting worse. Sometimes both monitors would turn off completely, but it seemed like a one-off. After restarting, everything worked again. But then it started happening more often. Eventually, when I turned it on, I saw a splash screen but no actual display. It was still booting into Windows, though I could hear the startup sounds. Now I don’t see any splash screen, but it’s still getting into Windows.

I’ve replaced the motherboard thinking that might be the problem. I’m planning to get a new CPU just in case something on my old one failed and I don’t want to waste more money.

Details:
- CPU: 3060 | R7 5700G
- Old board: Asrock B550M-C
- New board: ASUS B550 Plus AC (supports up to 5000)
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 T-Force
- Cooler: Thermaltake Smart 600W

What is the monitor? Would you like to test it with another one?

You changed the CPU and motherboard, then reinstalled the operating system onto the drive.

The monitor is a 75hz 1080p model. I also tried another one, but it didn't work.

I haven’t changed the CPU yet, just the motherboard. Could you clarify the last part of my message? I’m not sure I fully grasp what you mean.

Replacing a motherboard often means a Windows reinstall is needed. However, if you're not seeing any results, even at the BIOS stage, it points to another issue.
