I understand this might seem a bit unusual, but I had no other choice because of time pressure and limited alternatives. Here’s what happened:

My situation:
I wasn’t able to find a fan that matched my CPU heatsink, so I opted to use zip ties to secure a new fan onto it. Although it’s not the perfect solution, I really needed it to get my PC up and running tomorrow, especially since work was scheduled.

The Problem:
After installing the new fan and turning on my computer:
• GPU fans are spinning.
• GPU RGB lights are functioning.
• Motherboard RGB lights are working.
• The new CPU fan is also spinning.
• RAM lights are illuminating.

Despite everything appearing to work, the main concerns are:
• I connected my PC to an OLED monitor (via DP 2.1) and a TV (via HDMI from the GPU), but neither displayed anything.
• I’m unable to access the BIOS; it seems the system isn’t recognizing the display at all.
• My motherboard is an ASRock Z370 Extreme4.

What I’ve tried so far:
1. Reseated the RAM – removed and cleaned the slots before reinserting.
2. Checked all cables – everything appears properly connected.
3. Tested two displays – neither my monitor nor TV detected any signal.
4. Verified components – GPU, fan, motherboard RGBs, and RAM lights are all functioning.

Questions:
1. What might be behind this issue?
2. How can I resolve it quickly? I need the PC operational by tomorrow for work.
3. Could a lack of signal from my GPU be due to a connection problem, or did I make a mistake during fan installation?

Any advice or suggestions would be very much appreciated. This was a last-minute, urgent fix, and I’m in a tight spot. Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When sharing a troubleshooting post, it's important to provide complete system details. Please list your specifications in the following order:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model.
I wasn’t able to find a fan that matched my CPU heatsink perfectly, so I used zip ties to attach a new fan. It’s not the best solution, but it was necessary because I have work tomorrow and need the PC up and running.
If you remove the added fan, does your system start functioning better? Speaking of this, what fan are we considering here?

The new fan is linked to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard. It uses the same type—either 3-pin or PWM—as the previous one.
