I just upgraded to a new LG 1440p monitor from my Acer 1080 monitor and have observed now when playing Destiny in full-screen, when I alt tab from Destiny 2 to Windows, a short black screen appears as it transitions from the game to the desktop. I used to play Destiny 2 on my 1080 monitor in full-screen and it would just bounce back and forth without any black screen. I think this might be related to the different monitors. Have anyone experienced this issue with Destiny 2 or another game? I’m planning a dual-monitor setup soon, so I want to avoid this problem, but I’d appreciate any suggestions on a workaround.

What GPU do you possess? The rise in resolution might be linked to the lag if your GPU isn't powerful enough. It needs to shift from GPU operation to gaming mode, then pass control to Windows.
