About a week ago I installed an Evga Geforce Rtx 3070 Ti Ftw3 on my system, then required an extra 8 pin connector to connect another card for three more monitors. Since I had my previous setup, after connecting everything I powered it up and noticed a surge from the power supply. I’m worried the system might be damaged, but here’s my question: I got a Corsair CP-9020094-UK to replace the faulty power supply. Does that mean the voltage will be 220 or can I use it?

The RM1000x supports AC inputs from 100 to 240 volts.

The sole variation will be that the power cable suits UK sockets. All other aspects remain identical to what was advertised, such as compatibility with US units.

I recommend buying that PSU from a trusted seller rather than a seller with only 11 ratings at 36% overall.
They are also not affiliated with the authorized Corsair retailer.

I wasn't thinking and just grabbed the first replacement, which was the same model. Not concerned about the price, just hoping it works.

Need a fresh main power cable, unsure about using the one from the damaged PSU. Consider swapping out all the modular connections too. You might also reach out to Corsair for a replacement of the blown RMx, as they offer a 10-year warranty.
