Question Cores only achieve 4300 Mhz under stress test
I increased my i7 9700k to 5Ghz with adaptive voltage and dynamic cpu ratio settings.
Here are my BIOS configurations:
CPU ratio apply mode: all core
CPU ratio: 50
CPU ratio mode: Dynamic mode
CPU ratio offset when running avx: -2
Ring ratio: 47
EIST: enabled
Enhanced turbo: auto
Intel C-state: disabled
CPU base clock: 100
CPU core voltage apply mode: adaptive mode
CPU core voltage: 1.320
CPU over current protection: 140%
Rest is on auto; during the OCCT stress test all cores reached 4300Mhz except for cores 1 and 2, which I believe were around 4500Mhz or similar. Shouldn’t they be at 4800Mhz during testing?
Temperatures aren’t the issue—they’re stable at 60-70°C while running the test.
