Hello,
I've been experiencing BSODs unexpectedly and randomly. I've tried almost everything to fix or identify the issue, but nothing seems to resolve it. Until recently, each BSOD matched one of these patterns: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP, and KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.

I've done the following:
- Ran sfc scannow
- Performed chkdsk
- Used Windows memory diagnostic
- Double-checked all drivers via Device Manager and Windows System Update settings

Both memory and disk checks returned no problems.

Some software-related occurrences that seem to happen often: Discord frequently crashes and restarts (sporadically), and my browser (DuckDuckGo) does the same. I'm not an expert, so if you need more details, just let me know. Also, please mention whether you should share these files on a diff site or not. I used catbox.moe.

Minidump Files
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
Discord constantly crashes and restarts (sporadic) and same with my browser (I use DuckDuckGo), in case that's relevant
Have you tried working with any other browser?
Where did you source the installer for your OS? What antivirus are you using?

@Lutfij mentioned this, but upon reviewing your dump files you'll notice several storage warnings. It's important to check your BIOS and consider updating the drive firmware directly from the manufacturer's site rather than depending on Windows updates.

If it were me, I would immediately back up all my data to another hard drive!
Next, I would check disk management to confirm if the C:\ partition is full.
I’d also use disk partitioning to look for any unallocated space at the end of the drive, aiming to keep around 30GB to 40GB free there.
Then, I would thoroughly examine the BSOD messages and mini dumps.

Do you know the BIOS version for your motherboard at this time?
Is the PSU age uncertain? I assembled this PC around May/June, do you think that’s correct?
BIOS Version: American Megatrends International, LLC. 1.80, 09/27/2024
Discord frequently restarts intermittently (sporadically), and my browser (DuckDuckGo) does the same, this may be relevant
Have you experimented with a different browser?
No, only because the restart happened recently; I believe the discord issues have persisted for at least a couple of months.
Where did you obtain the OS installer?
I downloaded the OS directly from Microsoft’s official site using a USB drive.

I wasn't expecting this! I assumed checking the Windows update was enough since there were no pending issues. I'm going to look at the BIOS now. Noticing the date in my reply to Lutfij, I thought updating it would be necessary because I needed the latest BIOS version before first booting my PC a few months ago. As for drivers, should I just check the Device Manager and visit each manufacturer's site myself? Thanks for the beginner-friendly advice.

When I set up Windows 11 from the official Microsoft site, I:
1. Back up every piece of data first!
2. Ensure there is enough free space at the end of the hard drive (40 GB works).
3. Run mediacreationtool.exe to generate a Win11 installation USB and select KEEP my apps and files when clicking setup.exe on the USB.
BSOD issues often arise if this procedure isn't followed after installation.

Hey, thanks for sharing your tips! I'm pretty sure this is what I did when I installed windows on this PC. I used a USB to install it, just follow the directions on the Microsoft page. I dedicated 1 TB SSD for it, and partitioned it as well. I don't install anything else on that drive either. I included a picture of it for your convenience.

I wouldn't be overly concerned about everything, but I'd make sure to review your Motherboard BIOS and any storage firmware updates.
Motherboard - https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-Z790...I-MAX-WIFI (It seems your board had a recent update)
WD Black Drive requires SanDisk Dashboard - https://support-in.sandisk.com/app/produ...web/p/3892
Samsung Drive(s) need Magician Software - https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/MZ-V8P2T0B/AM/
