I appreciate your support as I attempt to assemble what may be my final system. (Can’t play forever, can’t you?) I think I’ve settled on all the parts.
Given everyone’s experience with PC builds, do you usually find significant "Black Friday" discounts at Newegg or other stores that would let me delay my build until the end of the month?
For clarity, here’s the setup I’ve chosen:
https://newegg.io/c56b3c80
The SDD is currently delayed on Newegg, so I’ll order it from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-T-Creat...GPYWJ?th=1
P.S. I’m missing a monitor. To be honest, if you have any suggestions—something that maximizes the rig’s potential while staying within a budget of around $130 to $180—would be great. (Maybe a 27-inch model?) Should I go for 1080p or 1140p?
What about clock speed? Are 144MHz or higher acceptable?
I’m also curious about refresh rates: IPS, TN, VA—what’s the best choice?
Response time matters too. Is a difference of just 0.5ms noticeable over 1ms?
Contrast settings?
All these details are making me feel stuck.

Black Friday promotions run from the first of November to mid-January.
The issue is...are you looking for your preferred item at a discount?
