Question changed refresh rate to black screen
I’ve experienced this myself more often than I’d like to admit, and I don’t recall how to fix it.
I adjusted the refresh rate in the Win11 display settings to match my monitor’s 164Hz, but the screen went black right away. Trying low resolution didn’t help, and safe mode locked the refresh rate at 60 (grayed out).
After that, I removed the display in the device manager, yet the problem persisted. I’m unsure what to do next.
