I recently installed a new PC with an i9-14900kf, 4070 Ti Super, 32GB 6400 RAM, and it runs well with good temperatures. The lag I’m experiencing isn’t frame drops—when trying to stream or play, the video will lag and only works when I switch tabs. Same goes for videos on HD; they lag while playing but recover quickly once I switch tabs. The second part of this problem is that during laggy streams or videos, the game also starts lagging due to input delay. I often notice up to five seconds of pure keyboard input lag until I switch tabs and close the video or stream. Please help.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
Did you install the OS for your platform or did they do so at the store you purchased the system from?

Did the system function correctly before? Which connection type are you using—wired or wireless? The same applies to your keyboard and mouse.
