My current PSU is an older model, though I can't confirm its precise age. I'm planning to assemble a new PC with the 7800X3D and RTX 4070. Should I reuse it or purchase a replacement? I haven't been in the market for a long time. Have there been any significant changes recently? If buying a new one, what features should I consider?

I believe the PSU existed since at least 2009, maybe even earlier.
At that time, it performed well according to my memory.
The usual recommendation is to swap it out, though it might remain functional for a long time.

It's an older model. If you could afford a better unit, I'd upgrade, but if not, I'm confident it'll still work with the current setup. Alternatively, just use it and watch for a replacement later.
