Computer has been experiencing BSOD and hard crashes frequently
Attempted all troubleshooting steps, including verifier.exe, driver removal, benchmarking from OCCT to 3DMark, but nothing resolved the issue
Performed memtest86 which revealed numerous errors (failed test)
Rebooted RAM and CPU, successfully passed the test after 8 hours
Received another hard crash, then reset the whole system and reinstalled Windows
Downloaded essential drivers (MB driver, Nvidia Drivers) and a few games
Played Counter Strike and encountered an immediate bluescreen. This indicates a problem with the fresh Windows installation
Reported bug code 59
Event 41 Kernel Power
Task Category 63
Eventually I encountered looping bluescreens
Started the computer, posted to Windows, then BSOD occurred right after logging in
The system eventually stopped responding completely until I removed a stick of RAM
Ran memtest86 twice, both tests failed
Received Failed Test Number 1 and Failed Test Number 2
Purchased brand new DDR5 RAM sticks from BestBuy this afternoon, but they also failed the test
Tested new RAM, failed again
Could this be due to a faulty motherboard? CPU? PSU?
CPU: Intel Core i9-12900K
GPU: Nvidia RTX 4070-TS (Ti-Super)
SSD: Samsung 990 Pro M.2 2TB
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000
MBD: Asus PRIME Z790-V AX
PSU: Thermaltake Smart BM3 750 W 80+ Bronze Certified

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
What BIOS version is installed on your motherboard? Are you performing a clean OS installation, did you recreate the bootable USB installer to avoid a faulty one? Are you installing the OS in offline mode? Are you installing all required drivers through an elevated command—right-click the installer and run as Administrator—while in offline mode?

How recent is your PSU? Have you tried adding an extra RAM stick? You might want to transfer your current RAM setup onto another known working motherboard with the latest BIOS version to check if the problem continues. You can repeat this process for your processor to determine if its integrated memory controller is the issue.

Regarding the CPU, what cooling solution are you using?
To confirm your PSU isn’t the cause, consider borrowing a well-built 750W power supply from a friend or neighbor and see if the problem persists.
