Hello,
I have a PC with a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RTX 2070 Super.
When playing Black Ops Cold War, I usually get 100-120fps at High-Medium settings and 1440p.
However, about four days after installing the new Nvidia driver (version 466.77, installed around June 15), I started experiencing less than 60fps with stutters.
This problem occurs randomly, and sometimes restarting the game resolves it.
It’s frustrating because quitting mid-game just to try fixing it is really annoying.
I’ve read online that adjusting certain settings might help, but it hasn’t worked for me.
Here are my current CoD settings:
- VRAM usage - 0.65
- Worker threads that won’t do background compilation of PSOs - 13 (out of 15)
I tried following steps from this thread:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/for...ng-filter/
But nothing improved.
I also shared my full configuration here:
https://pastebin.com/76Kxk5Ra
What’s causing this issue?
Thank you for any help.
