Hello
I was planning to try installing Vanced on my Android TV and phones since I'm tired of the official app, but I just found out it's been discontinued. I'm searching for a better alternative.
Blocking ads isn't essential for me, but I'm frustrated by how removing features like Bitrate Quality + Custom Speed makes it so complicated to manage folders or favourites—often requiring PC use instead.
Could you suggest some apps in order of suitability? Make sure to note whether they're available for Android TV or Android Phone or both?
I currently use Magic Actions for PC in the Browser, and I'd really like something with many options like that if possible.
At the very least, I need the Bitrate Quality + Custom Speed settings to function properly!
Also, it seems difficult to install multiple apps on Android Smart TVs these days...
If you know how, could you share important installation tips or steps?

i don't know about android tv but i use NewPipe for the phone. no ads which is what i was looking for.
NewPipe - a free YouTube client
newpipe.net
you can download the apk and install it yourself or go through something like f-droid which is a 3rd party app store. lots of good stuff in there.
