Hello everyone, just wanted to ask a question.
I’m purchasing my first AMD GPU, but it has some memory RAM issues due to timing problems. I bought it without knowing much about it and ended up getting it.
It’s my very first AMD GPU, offering many settings to turn on or off for graphics. I’m not sure which ones are essential and which aren’t—I noticed several options are enabled by default.
I don’t play competitive games much except occasionally for fun; mostly I enjoy open word games and some FPS titles like Battlefield 6.
I keep reading about people undervolting GPUs, which I haven’t done yet. I thought it might be safe since it could lower the temperature and reduce power usage, possibly improving performance. Is it worth doing?
The GPU I bought is:
Sapphire Pure Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaming OC 16GB

Other details:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
GPU Cooler: MSI MAG CORELIQUID A15
Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5
RAM: Kingston FURY Beast EXPO RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 PC5-44800C30 6000MHz
Power Supply: MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850W 80+ Gold
Monitor: MSI MAG 274QF WQHD 180Hz 2560x1440

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, or could you point me to the right thread if I missed it?

I often see people undervolting GPUs, but I never did it because I read it’s safe to do. It usually lowers the temperature, reduces power usage, and can boost performance. Is it worth trying?
Simple yes.
You can find more details on YouTube and websites like Reddit.

I noticed many videos, but it's unclear which one to choose.
