Hey everyone,
As mentioned in the title, I'm experiencing huge FPS drops when switching in and out of CSGO. I've never had this issue before and don't know where to start fixing it. I also play Valorant, which is working well for me.
Performance is clearly affected, but my GPU and CPU seem normal. I found a quick temporary solution by changing the resolution and then reverting it, though it's a bit tedious every time I switch tabs.
I only have -tickrate 128 and -novid set as launch options, and all graphics settings are at low. I've reinstalled the game a few times, but it hasn't helped.
I'm still a bit confused about how to proceed.
I recorded a short video for reference. You can see that I'm fine running and jumping around in-game, though the screen quality looks a bit low during recording. After switching to Alt tab from about 24 seconds onward, the performance drops significantly.
Any advice would be really appreciated. I'll keep trying to fix this on my own.

It looks like the issue was due to an app named Groupy. After closing it, the problem vanished.
