A family member lent me his used HDD for data transfer, which I connected to my PC via a SATA port. When I turned on my computer, the motherboard lights lit up (likely indicating CPU and RAM), but the system failed to boot. I shut it down immediately and removed the drive. Now the PC is working properly, though when I power it up, the CPU and RAM lights flash on and off in two seconds. A clicking sound comes from the power supply unit when the RAM turns off. What are your thoughts?

Clicking Noise might indicate the HDD is searching for a boot partition. If you connect it and enter BIOS, adjusting the boot sequence to the SSD or HDD should restore proper operation. This issue can occur if the drive is faulty, as similar problems have caused systems to fail to boot even when not in the correct order. Good luck!
